Flowing reddish-brown tresses and the Tree of Life. A traumatized child gains the eyes of a soldier. And perhaps one of the foremost downtrodden approaches a path of dangerous divinity.

In this episode, I’ll discuss the possible symbolism of Eren’s longer hair, as well as a subtle resemblance he now has to his mentor.…

P.S. As pointed out in others’ comments, Eren’s new look also lends him a stronger resemblance to Grisha himself. This was something I’d completely forgotten while writing and recording the episode.…

In this series of episodes about the trailer, I’ll continue chilling out and sharing some theories, observations, questions, and general thoughts I have as an “anime-mostly” fan as we examine the Season 4 trailer and consider the 3 seasons of storyline that led up to this moment. I’d already written and recorded these episodes prior to the premiere but hadn’t had enough time to get them out as soon as I would’ve liked. And I’m sure it won’t be too long before we get answers on certain things, so I’d like to get these questions and thoughts out there ahead of time.

This is one of those episodes where the comment section will be open on YouTube, so feel free to sound off there! HOWEVER…if you’re a manga reader, PLEASE make sure to properly mark off and hide from view any spoilers you wish to share (that is, use a spoiler warning and make sure the spoiler material itself is below the “read more” tag). I do plan on moderating comments to try and help people avoid getting accidentally spoiled.

And if you’re a troll who wants to deliberately do that for “fun”? …I’ll respond accordingly.

All right, folks. Shinzou wo sasageyo!!

Content Notice: This episode is in the PG range, as I will be referencing some topics that are not child-friendly, but nothing graphic. The show itself is definitely an R/TV-MA series, however, and I would recommend a minimum age of 15 or so. That is chiefly due to violence, mainly of the action type. That aspect gets very intense. There’s some strong language here and there, but not to where it’s really noteworthy, and as far as I can recall, there’s been no graphic nudity or sexual content thus far, though there are certain content caveats mentioned in my review.
