They peddle abuse and self-harm under the guise of “love.” They fulfill White-supremacist fantasies and brag about multiculturalism and diversity. They stab us in the back and want us to pay for the knife. All hail our saviors from the Cult of the Crotch. …
Welcome to Part 1 of our series on the topics of the “kink shaming” argument and exposing the reality of what is being written and promoted by those draping themselves in a veneer of nobility—and the lying, cowardice, narcissism, racism, cruelty, and callousness displayed and engaged in by those writing it.
These individuals paint themselves as the friends of the people they’re screwing over, and they use deceptive means to market this destructive and exploitative material to the very people they’re harming—as well as to others who are taken in by the false advertising and the claims that something positive is being done. “Show how enlightened and not racist you are by supporting our work! [‘Romance’ or outright porn about abusing, dehumanizing, and otherwise harming women and people of color and/or making them the abusers.]” It still isn’t right when the victims or aggressors are Caucasian and/or male—and this will also be addressed…but there’s a particular hypocrisy at work with people claiming things like feminist beliefs and racial enlightenment, and often attacking and criticizing others to a ridiculous extent, while yet churning out material like this themselves.
This kind of conduct preys on a lack of information and flourishes in the absence of confrontation. So it’s time to shine a light on the people who try to sell the worst of darkness while calling it sunshine, and who seek to silence those who actually do bring the light.
