I thought it might be a fun experience for my listeners to hear excerpts of different books I’ve enjoyed and would recommend. Some of these I’ve already featured on my site previously, and others I haven’t yet.
For this first Reading Room session, I’ll be doing a few sections from the fantasy novel “Sorrowfish,” by Anne C. Miles. “Sorrowfish” is intended to be the first entry in a series from this author, and you can bet I look forward to reading the sequels, as well. You can find more information about “Sorrowfish” here, including purchase links.
P.S. I realize that book titles are normally italicized. However, when writing online, I’ll often use quotation marks instead because italicization may either be unavailable or problematic to transfer across different platforms. Using quotation marks at least means I still have that separation between the title and any surrounding text. The same thing goes for film titles, et cetera.
Content Notice: Another family-friendly episode! Regarding the book itself, I’d say it registers at a PG-13/TV-14, as there are some violent and otherwise disturbing parts.
